Main Uses

Organic Synthesis Intermediate:

It is a key raw material for the preparation of olefins and phosphonate esters. Through the Arbuzov rearrangement reaction, various phosphorus-containing organic compounds can be synthesized, which are widely used in the synthesis of pharmaceuticals and pesticides (such as insecticides and herbicides).

It can be used to prepare fine chemical products such as flame retardants and plasticizers.

Reducing Agent: Acts as a reducing agent in certain organic reactions, for example, reducing carbonyl compounds such as aldehydes and ketones.

Catalyst: Can serve as a co-catalyst in polymerization reactions (such as olefin polymerization) to regulate reaction rates and product properties.

Others: Used in the preparation of lubricant additives and surfactants, as well as a solvent in certain organic reaction systems.
